I am studying neuroscience at the University of Calgary, researching nerve regeneration. While imaging my cell culture experiments for analysis, often a particular neuron would catch my eye. One day I came across one so striking, I had to take a photograph. Ever since then, I have viewed my cells not only as a scientist, but also through the eyes of an artist.
